XM Satellite Radio to Broadcast 14 College Bowl Games, Including 2006 Bowl Championship SeriesXM Satellite Radio |
XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading satellite radio service with more than 5 million subscribers, announced today it will offer the most coverage of college football bowl games during the 2005-06 post-season with live play-by- play for 14 games, including all four games of the 2006 Bowl Championship Series (BCS).
XM's coverage begins today, December 21 at 8 p.m. ET on XM Channel 193 when the University of Texas at El Paso takes on the University of Toledo and continues through the January 4 BCS National Championship contest between the University of Texas Longhorns and the defending national champion University of Southern California Trojans in The Rose Bowl at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN Radio (XM Channel 140). XM will carry all four of the 2006 BCS games from January 2 through January 4 -- the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Nokia Sugar Bowl, FedEx Orange Bowl, and Rose Bowl -- on its ESPN Radio channel.
