SIRIUS Satellite Radio to Launch Talk Show Created and Hosted by Publishing Powerhouse Judith ReganSIRIUS Satellite Radio, the leading content provider in radio, today announced that publishing powerhouse Judith Regan will create and host The Judith Regan Show, a weekly two hour talk show that will air exclusively on SIRIUS Talk Central.
Regan's show will be a no-holds-barred forum for frank conversations and provocative discussions with a variety of personalities, authors, opinion makers, celebrities and others. As dynamic as Regan herself, the show will highlight a wide range of topics from the world of current events, pop culture, politics, the media, entertainment, health, relationships and more.
"Judith is a publishing icon. Intelligent, honest and enthusiastic, she has broken new ground in book publishing many times over. Movies have trailers, television has commercials and now books have Judith Regan on SIRIUS," said Scott Greenstein, President of Entertainment and Sports, SIRIUS Satellite Radio.
"I am looking forward to having honest, insightful, provocative and daring conversation with a variety of personalities that highlight the challenges we all face trying to be human in an ever changing, fast-paced world. I love the idea that SIRIUS welcomes the possibility that anything can happen," said Regan. "Radio is a perfect medium for an aging beauty. No botox, no hair and make-up and no expensive outfits to hide behind. It is just me and the microphone," she added.
Judith Regan is the founder and CEO of ReganMedia, a multi-media company comprised of books, television, film and radio. ReganBooks has published a wide range of authors including award-winning-novelists Wally Lamb (I Know This Much Is True), and Gregory Maguire (Wicked), as well as a list of high- profile personalities including Howard Stern (Miss America), Sean Hannity (Deliver Us From Evil), Bernie Mac (Maybe You Never Cry Again) and General Tommy Franks (American Soldier).
The Judith Regan Show will be broadcast from SIRIUS' studios located in New York and Los Angeles. The show will air exclusively on SIRIUS beginning in October.
